Day 1: Welcome to Istanbul
Welcome to the mesmerizing city of Istanbul! Upon your arrival at either Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW), our representative will be there to greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to either relax and recover from your journey or begin exploring this vibrant city on your own. Later, one of our tour consultants will get in touch with you to provide a brief overview of your exciting 7 Days Turkey Tour. Enjoy your first night in the enchanting city of Istanbul.
Day 2: Discover the Highlights of Istanbul (Breakfast)
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, get ready for a full-day guided tour of Istanbul’s most iconic attractions. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby, and the adventure begins!
First, we’ll visit Hagia Sophia, a marvel of architectural history and one of Istanbul’s most famous landmarks. Next, we’ll admire the Blue Mosque, renowned for its stunning blue tiles and six magnificent minarets. We’ll then explore the historic Topkapi Palace, the opulent residence of Ottoman sultans for nearly four centuries. Our tour continues at the Hippodrome, where you’ll see the Serpentine Column, the Obelisk of Theodosius, and the German Fountain. Lastly, immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world.
After the tour, we’ll return you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to continue exploring Istanbul or perhaps take a memorable cruise on the Bosphorus. Spend another night in Istanbul.
Day 3: Flight to Cappadocia and North Cappadocia Tour (Lunch)
Rise early for a transfer to Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you’ll be whisked away to Göreme, where the full-day North Cappadocia tour begins.
We will start with a visit to the Göreme Panorama, a viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the Göreme Valley and its unique fairy chimneys. Next, we’ll explore the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring rock-cut churches and monasteries. In Paşabağ Valley, also known as Monks Valley, you’ll see some of Cappadocia’s most striking rock formations. Our tour continues to Devrent Valley, famous for its animal-shaped rock formations, and the town of Avanos, known for its traditional pottery-making. Here, you’ll have the chance to watch skilled artisans at work and even try your hand at creating your own pottery.
After the tour, we’ll take you to your hotel in Cappadocia. The rest of the evening is yours to explore the enchanting landscapes of Cappadocia at your leisure. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 4: South Cappadocia Tour and Flight to Izmir (Breakfast, Lunch)
Start your day with an optional hot air balloon ride, offering an unforgettable aerial view of Cappadocia’s unique landscapes. After breakfast, we’ll embark on a full-day South Cappadocia tour.
Our journey begins in Love Valley, known for its distinctive rock formations. We’ll then visit Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia, offering panoramic views. Next, we’ll hike through the stunning Red Valley and visit Çavuşin Village, famous for its cave houses and ancient churches. Pigeon Valley, named for its numerous pigeon houses carved into the rocks, is our next stop. Finally, we’ll explore one of Cappadocia’s impressive underground cities, a fascinating glimpse into the region’s ancient history.
After the tour, we’ll transfer you to Cappadocia Airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Kusadasi, a beautiful resort town on the Aegean coast. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.
Day 5: Explore Ephesus (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, we’ll pick you up for a full-day tour of Ephesus, one of the most well-preserved ancient cities in the world.
Our first stop is the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be her final home. Next, we’ll explore the ancient city of Ephesus, including the impressive Library of Celsus, the Grand Theater, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Terrace Houses. We’ll also visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
After the tour, we’ll return you to your hotel in Kusadasi, where you can relax on the beach or do some shopping. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.
Day 6: Discover Pamukkale and Return to Istanbul (Breakfast, Lunch)
Following breakfast and checkout, we’ll pick you up for a full-day tour of Pamukkale, known for its stunning white terraces and mineral-rich waters, also referred to as the “Cotton Castle”.
We’ll visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, exploring its impressive theater, Roman bath, and Necropolis. You’ll also have the chance to walk along the beautiful white calcium terraces and even bathe in the warm waters of Cleopatra’s Pool, a natural hot spring said to have been a gift from Mark Antony to Cleopatra.
After the tour, we’ll transfer you to Denizli Airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Spend your final night in Istanbul.
Day 7: Farewell to Istanbul (Breakfast)
Enjoy your last breakfast in Istanbul before checking out. Depending on your international flight schedule, we will arrange a transfer to either Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). As your 7 Days Turkey Tour comes to an end, we hope you leave with unforgettable memories and stories to share. Don’t forget to tell us about your amazing experiences!
