Day 1: Welcome to Istanbul
Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW), you will be transferred to your hotel in Istanbul. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, either exploring the vibrant city on your own or resting after your journey. Today, your tour consultant will contact you to provide a brief overview of your 12 Days Turkey Tour Package. Enjoy your overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 2: Discover the Highlights of Istanbul (Breakfast)
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, our guide will meet you in the lobby for a full-day tour of Istanbul’s most famous attractions. Your itinerary includes:
- Hagia Sophia: A world-renowned architectural marvel.
- Blue Mosque: Known for its striking blue tiles and six minarets.
- Topkapi Palace: The opulent residence of Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years.
- Hippodrome: Featuring the Serpentine Column, the Obelisk of Theodosius, and the German Fountain.
- Grand Bazaar: One of the largest and oldest covered markets globally.
After the tour, you’ll return to your hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore Istanbul further. You might also opt for a scenic cruise on the Bosphorus. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 3: Flight to Cappadocia – Northern Cappadocia Tour (Lunch)
Early in the morning, you’ll be transferred to IST or SAW airport for a flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you’ll be driven to Goreme to start your full-day Northern Cappadocia tour. Highlights include:
- Goreme Panorama: Offering breathtaking views of Goreme Valley and its fairy chimneys.
- Goreme Open-Air Museum: A UNESCO World Heritage site featuring rock-cut churches and monasteries.
- Pasabag Valley: Also known as Monks Valley, famous for its impressive rock formations.
- Devrent Valley: Known for its unique rock formations resembling animals.
- Town of Avanos: Renowned for its traditional pottery-making techniques, where you can watch artisans at work and try your hand at pottery.
After the tour, you will return to your hotel in Cappadocia. Enjoy some free time to explore Cappadocia on your own. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 4: Southern Cappadocia Tour (Breakfast, Lunch)
Optional: Begin your day with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia. After breakfast, embark on a full-day Southern Cappadocia tour, including:
- Love Valley: Known for its unique, phallic-shaped rock formations.
- Uchisar Castle: The highest point in Cappadocia, offering panoramic views.
- Red Valley: Perfect for a scenic hike among striking red rock formations.
- Çavuşin Village: Famous for its cave houses and ancient rock-cut churches.
- Pigeon Valley: Named for its numerous pigeon houses carved into the rock.
- Underground City: One of the largest and deepest underground cities in Cappadocia.

Day 5: Flight to Antalya (Breakfast)
After breakfast and checkout, you’ll be transferred to Cappadocia airport for a flight to Antalya. Upon arrival, you’ll be driven to your hotel. Antalya is a popular tourist destination known for its stunning beaches, historical sites, and charming Old Town. Overnight stay in Antalya.
Day 6: Perge, Aspendos, and Waterfall Tour (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day tour of Perge, Aspendos, and the nearby waterfall. You’ll visit:
- Ancient City of Perge: Featuring well-preserved ruins, including a stadium, Roman baths, a gymnasium, and a theater.
- Ancient City of Aspendos: Renowned for its ancient Roman theater, one of the best-preserved in the world.
- Ancient City of Side: Including the Temple of Apollo, Roman theater, and ancient city walls.
- Manavgat Waterfall: A beautiful natural attraction near Manavgat.
After the tour, you will return to your hotel with free time to explore Antalya’s Old Town or relax on the beach. Overnight stay in Antalya.
Day 7: Bus to Pamukkale (Breakfast)
After breakfast and checkout, you’ll be transferred to the local bus terminal in Fethiye for a bus ride to Denizli, offering a public transportation experience during your 12-day tour. Upon arrival in Denizli, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Pamukkale. Overnight stay in Pamukkale.
Day 8: Pamukkale Tour (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, you’ll start a full-day tour of Pamukkale. You’ll visit:
- Hierapolis Ancient City: Featuring an impressive theater, Roman bath, and Necropolis.
- Pamukkale White Terraces: Known as the “Cotton Castle” for its mineral-rich waters.
- Cleopatra’s Pool: A natural hot spring pool believed to be a gift from Mark Antony to Cleopatra.
During the tour, enjoy walking along the stunning white calcium pools and bathing in the warm waters. Afterward, you’ll be driven to Kusadasi, a resort town on the Aegean coast. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.
Day 9: Ephesus Tour (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day tour of Ephesus. You’ll visit:
- House of the Virgin Mary: Believed to be the last home of the Virgin Mary.
- Ancient City of Ephesus: Including the Library of Celsus, Grand Theater, Temple of Hadrian, and Terrace Houses.
- Temple of Artemis: One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
After the tour, you will return to your hotel in Kusadasi. Enjoy free time to relax on the beach or go shopping. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.
Day 10: Pergamon Tour / Transfer to Canakkale (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast and checkout, you’ll embark on a full-day tour of Pergamon. Highlights include:
- Ancient City of Pergamon: A significant city during the Hellenistic period, featuring the Acropolis, Altar of Zeus, Temple of Athena, and Library of Pergamon.
After the tour, you will drive to Canakkale and be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay in Canakkale.
Day 11: Troy and Gallipoli Tour / Transfer to Istanbul (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast and checkout, you’ll visit the ancient city of Troy, famous for the legendary Trojan War. You’ll see:
- Trojan Horse: A symbol of the Trojan War.
- Ancient City Walls: Historical remnants of Troy.
- Temple of Athena: An important ancient site.
You’ll also visit key sites from the Gallipoli campaign, including: - ANZAC Cove: Landing site for Australian and New Zealand troops in 1915.
- Lone Pine Cemetery: Final resting place for many ANZAC soldiers.
- Chunuk Bair: Site of a fierce battle between ANZAC and Ottoman forces.
Other memorials and cemeteries include the Turkish Memorial, Beach Cemetery, and Ari Burnu Cemetery. After the tour, you’ll drive back to Istanbul for your last night. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 12: Departure from Istanbul (Breakfast)
