Day 1: Flight to Cappadocia / North Cappadocia Tour (Lunch)
Welcome to the first day of your enchanting 4-day Cappadocia, Pamukkale, and Ephesus Tour! Early in the morning, we will transfer you to IST or SAW airport for your flight to the mesmerizing region of Cappadocia. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to the picturesque town of Goreme to commence your full-day North Cappadocia tour.
Your adventure begins with visits to:
- Goreme Panorama: Enjoy the stunning views of the Goreme Valley and its iconic fairy chimneys from this popular lookout point.
- Goreme Open-Air Museum: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this museum showcases beautiful rock-cut churches and monasteries adorned with ancient frescoes.
- Pasabag Valley (Monks Valley): Discover some of the most striking rock formations in Cappadocia, shaped by centuries of natural erosion.
- Devrent Valley: Marvel at the unique rock formations that resemble various animals, making this valley truly one-of-a-kind.
- Town of Avanos: Experience traditional pottery-making techniques in this historic town, where you can watch skilled artisans at work and even try your hand at creating your own pottery.
After the tour, we will take you to your hotel in Cappadocia, where you will have free time to explore the enchanting area at your own pace. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.
Day 2: South Cappadocia Tour / Bus to Pamukkale (Breakfast, Lunch)
Start your day with an optional Hot Air Balloon ride over Cappadocia’s surreal landscape, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up to begin your full-day South Cappadocia tour.
Today’s highlights include:
- Love Valley: Famous for its uniquely shaped rock formations, this valley offers stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere.
- Uchisar Castle: Visit the highest point in Cappadocia, providing panoramic views of the region that are simply breathtaking.
- Red Valley: Hike through vibrant red rock formations and marvel at the natural beauty of this picturesque valley.
- Çavuşin Village: Explore ancient cave houses and rock-cut churches, offering a glimpse into historical lifestyles.
- Pigeon Valley: Named for its numerous pigeon houses carved into the rocks, this valley showcases local ingenuity.
- Underground City: Discover one of Cappadocia’s largest and deepest underground cities, a refuge for early Christians.
After the tour, we will take you to the Goreme bus terminal for an overnight bus to Denizli.
Day 3: Pamukkale Tour (Breakfast, Lunch)
Upon arrival at the Denizli bus terminal, we will transfer you to your hotel in Pamukkale where you can rest after your long journey. After breakfast and checking out, we will pick you up for a full-day Pamukkale tour.
Today’s visits include:
- Hierapolis Ancient City: Explore the impressive theater, Roman baths, and extensive Necropolis of this ancient city.
- Pamukkale: Wander along the stunning white terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters, known as the “Cotton Castle” in Turkish and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Cleopatra’s Pool: Take a dip in this natural hot spring pool, said to have been a gift from Mark Antony to Cleopatra, and enjoy its therapeutic waters.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to take photos and bathe in the warm waters of the hot springs. After the tour, we will transfer you to your hotel in Kusadasi, a beautiful resort town on the Aegean coast. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.
Day 4: Ephesus Tour / Flight to Istanbul (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast and checking out from your hotel, we will pick you up for a full-day Ephesus tour.
Your exploration includes:
- House of the Virgin Mary: Visit the serene final home of the Virgin Mary, a site of pilgrimage and reflection.
- Ancient City of Ephesus: Walk through the impressive ruins of Ephesus, including the magnificent Library of Celsus, the Grand Theatre, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Terrace Houses.
- Temple of Artemis: Stand in awe at one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, experiencing its historical grandeur.
After the tour, we will take you to Izmir airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel in Istanbul. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
